Products and services for individuals

Mennonite Financial offers a variety of products and services geared specifically for our individual members.

Online banking

Check account balances, make transfers, stop payments, reorder checks, access monthly eStatements—all free, all in “real time.” We also offer electronic bill payment, also free if used for Contributions Direct™.

Checking

Mennonite Financial offers two types of individual checking accounts: (a) regular; (b) dividend-earning. No monthly fees on either.

Savings

As a member, you have a variety of savings options available: regular, club, certificates, money markets, IRAs. And we pay the highest dividend rate on the first $500 in a regular savings account.

Youth

Because we’re concerned that young people learn good financial management skills, we offer several products geared specifically for youth ages 18 and under. This includes a special rate on savings matched by an adult.

Loans

Mennonite Financial has a full range of loan products, including consumer, mortgages, and home equities. We also offer a discount for loans for vehicles considered “green.”

Contributions Direct™

When used to make regular, systematic contributions to church, mission, or charitable organizations, we make our electronic bill payment program available free to our members.

Health savings accounts

Our health savings plan makes it possible to set aside money tax-free for qualified medical expenses. A Mennonite Financial HSA also has a variety of investment options and ways to access the account.

Other financial services

Through our strategic partnership with Mennonite Mutual Aid (MMA), our members also have access to a variety of other financial services, such as trust services, mutual funds, and financial and investment counseling.
