Savings
Mennonite Financial has a variety of savings products to help you meet your individual financial goals.
You become a Mennonite Financial member by depositing $25 in a regular share savings account. This $25 is your property, but it must stay in the credit union as long as you are a member. You may add to this $25 in any amount you wish.

At Mennonite Financial, we pay the highest dividends on the first $500 in a regular share savings account. We do this because we believe it’s important to encourage the small saver, particularly our younger members. Jubilee Dividends™ is available automatically to all members. Other dividend rates vary according to account balance.
Mennonite Financial has certificates available in maturities from three to 60 months with minimum balances of $500-$100,000. Dividends are compounded quarterly. Penalties apply for early withdrawal.
Our money market accounts are for members who want to earn dividends with limited check writing privileges. And there is no monthly fee if the average daily balance does not fall below $1,000. Three free check withdrawals permitted each month; fees apply for more withdrawals. Dividend rates vary according to monthly balance.
Mennonite Financial members can set up club accounts for a variety of saving purposes: vehicle purchase, holiday bills, vacations, for example. Club accounts earn dividends at the same rates as regular share savings.
We also offer Christmas club accounts for separate deposits related to Christmas. These can be set up at any time. Christmas club deposits become available each October, either by check or automatic deposit.
Mennonite Financial offers three kinds of individual retirement accounts: (a) traditional, (b) Roth, and (c) educational. We also have a Self Employed Pension (SEP) program. Dividend rates vary according to balances.
