Visa credit cards
Mennonite Financial has available Visa credit card accounts for both individuals and businesses. Both credit cards have no annual fees and no interest charged on purchases if paid within 25 days of the statement date. Business cards have an APR of 11.9% and individual cards have an APR as low as 8.9%, based on credit history.
Visa credit cards for individuals
You may apply for a Visa credit card in your name only or have a joint account with another person and both receive individual credit cards. To apply: complete the Visa credit card personal application online and follow the instructions on the file.

Visa credit cards for businesses and congregations
On a Visa credit card account for businesses or congregations, you may have as many cards and authorized users as you wish. To apply: complete the Visa credit card business application and follow the instructions on the file.

With a Mennonite Financial Visa credit card, you have the possibility of accessing your account online. Called eZCardInfo, this service allows you to:
- check your available balance
- view your current balance
- access previous statements
- download transactions to personal financial management software such as Quicken and Microsoft Money
- make your credit card payment online
- change your personal profile information online
- set alerts to notify you via email for such things as when you reach your credit limit or when the balance exceeds a certain amount
- search for transactions and produce reports

Signing up
After logging on to the eZCardInfo site, click on the “Enroll here” box at the left.
Autopay allows you to make automatic payments to your Visa credit card account each month free of charge. You can pick the day your automatic payment is made, either from your checking or your savings account. You have four payment options:
- minimum payment
- pay in full
- pay fixed amount
- pay percentage of the balance
With Autopay, you receive a monthly credit card statement as usual. On it will be a note telling you the amount of the automatic payment and the day it will be made. This gives you time to make sure you have adequate funds in your payment account.

Mennonite Financial offers additional security for when you use your Visa credit card to make purchases online. Called Verified by Visa, this service adds a password to your existing credit card accounts—a password that participating merchants will ask you for when you give them your card information via the Internet. This makes it more difficult for your card information to be stolen and used by someone else without your knowing about it.
Your Verified by Visa password will be for online purchases only. Those you make in person will be processed as usual.
Verified by Visa is free, but you must register for it. The registration site will also give you additional information about Verified by Visa.
If you lose your Mennonite Financial Visa credit card, or if it is stolen, please do the following immediately:
