At Mennonite Financial Federal Credit Union, we take confidentiality seriously. This notice describes our policy and practices related to your private information.

Information we collect

Mennonite Financial collects nonpublic personal information about you from member applications and forms, your transactions, and consumer reporting agencies. 

Protecting your information

We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your nonpublic personal information, and restrict access to those employees needing to know that information to provide products or services to you.

Information we disclose 

In order to process a service you have requested, Mennonite Financial may disclose nonpublic personal information about you to our affiliates or other third parties through which we have a joint agreement, including (but not limited to) consumer reporting agencies, check or statement printers, data or card processors, customer or administrative services companies, and government agencies, as permitted or required by law.

Mennonite Financial, our affiliates, and contracts with other third parties are established to provide you with the various types of products and services you may need to integrate your finances with your faith and values. Using your information allows us to help you learn about and select the product offerings that best fit your needs, as well as eliminate those that may not interest you. Unless you inform us otherwise, Mennonite Financial or any affiliated entity or contracted third party may use your personal information from records maintained by Mennonite Financial, affiliated entities, and contracted third parties for reasons other than to provide services.

We only work with companies that agree in writing to maintain strong confidentiality protections and limit the use of the information we provide. If your membership is terminated or becomes inactive, we will not share information we have collected about you, except as permitted or required by law.

Opting out

If you do not want our affiliates and other third parties to use your personal information for reasons other than providing services, you may opt out by sending your request in writing to: Mennonite Financial Member Services, P.O. Box 10455, Lancaster, PA 17605. Your written request should include your name and address, your credit union account number(s), your signature and date. We may contact you for confirmation of your request. You may change your opt out request at any time.
