Mennonite Financial aims to help members practice Christian and Anabaptist values in their daily financial transactions. To do this, we have developed several unique services:

1. Jubilee Dividends™

Mennonite Financial pays the highest dividend rate on the first $500 of a regular savings accounts. We do this to encourage thrift among all members, not just those with high balances.

2. Rebate for Missions™

We tithe 10% of our interchange income from Visa credit cards to church and mission organizations.

3. Hybrid and fuel efficient vehicle discount

Because we believe in stewardship and care of the environment, we give a 1% discount on the interest rates for loans used to purchase hybrid or fuel efficient vehicles.

4. Mission and volunteer discount

If you are fulfilling mission or voluntary service and it affects your ability to pay financial obligations (such as credit cards, loans, mortgage, etc.), we may cap your interest rates at 6 percent during your time of service.

5. Contributions Direct™

Because we believe in the importance of supporting the church and other charities, Mennonite Financial makes its electronic bill payment program available free if it is used to make regular, automatic contributions to a church or other charity.

6. Youth Covenant Savings™

Encourage thrift and fiscal responsibility for young people age 18 and under! Earn the highest rate (Jubilee Dividends) on the first $500 deposited in your regular Share savings account, and deposits made to a secondary Youth Covenant Savings account (if matched by a parent, grandparent, mentor, or other adult) will also earn higher dividends.

7. Going Green home equity loan

Make energy-saving home improvements and qualify for a 0.50 percent APR discount on a home equity loan (if 75 percent of a five or 10-year fixed rate loan is used for qualifying expenses).

8. Congregation-secured loans

In case of extreme financial need—or when a member does not meet regular requirements for borrowing—we may set up a loan program for that member with accountability to the local congregation. 9. 'Living God’s Generosity'

This financial education curriculum is available free to congregations, schools, and individuals who want to work with young people and others in discussing finances and stewardship.
