Position Available for Marketing Manager
Lead efforts to market credit union services and selected MMA field offices and staff to MMA’s target audience. Half time will be devoted to Mennonite Financial Federal Credit Union and half time to MMA field offices. This position is located at the Mennonite Financial Administrative Center in Lancaster, Pa.
Key Accountabilities/Essential Duties
- Lead efforts to market assigned MMA field offices and representatives as experts in their fields with the unique skill of helping people integrate their faith and values with their financial decisions.
- Work with assigned regional directors to develop strategic marketing plans for regional offices, administer regional marketing plans, and integrate all marketing activities with the MMA brand.
- Work with Mennonite Financial management to market credit union services, including strategic market planning, growth strategies, and joint marketing with MMA.
- Function as the primary marketing contact for regional field staff.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide marketing services to assigned regional offices and staff including the development and monitoring of strategic marketing plans and providing competitive market analysis. Integrate MMA’s corporate marketing plan and direction with regional marketing plans.
- Develop marketing budgets for assigned regional offices as required.
- Develop strategic marketing plans and competitive analysis for Mennonite Financial.
- Develop joint marketing plans for Mennonite Financial and MMA in conjunction with MMA field marketing managers and regional directors.
- Lead marketing and communications projects as assigned.
- Work with regional directors to develop staff recruiting strategy and execution.
- Work with the MMA training officer to integrate MMA marketing tools and services into field staff training.
- Represent MMA in professional associations and inter-agency committees as required
- Continue to grow in awareness and knowledge of MMA and Mennonite Financial, their products and services, their customers, the church, and current marketing trends and practices.
- Be familiar with and uphold graphic and design standards for Mennonite Financial and MMA.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field required. Masters degree in Business, Marketing or related field preferred.
- Professional experience/background in marketing required.
- Have earned or willing to earn a CLU, CHFC, CFP, CCUE, or similar.

- Knowledge of Mennonite and related Anabaptist church values required.
- Computer literacy, specifically with Microsoft Office programs, Lotus Notes, and Agility.
- Understanding of fraternal organizations.
- Ability to manage to a budget.
- Effective public speaking and presentation skills a plus.
- Ability and willingness to travel more or less 30% of overnight travel away from home.
